Fisherman’s Market International Inc. in Halifax is hiring Floor Supervisors to lead the on-floor team, ensure top-notch customer service, and manage daily operations.

This role focuses on guiding staff, delivering an exceptional shopping experience, and supporting inventory and scheduling efforts in a fast-paced seafood retail environment. The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a passion for quality seafood and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Support daily retail operations and ensure smooth customer flow.

• Assist with inventory, merchandising, and opening/closing procedures.

We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Floor Supervisor to help guide our team and create an exceptional customer experience. If you’re a natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves working with people, this is your chance to be part of something exciting and new.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting daily retail operations and ensuring smooth customer flow
• Leading by example - jumping in to assist with sales, service, and product knowledge
• Coaching and mentoring team members on the floor
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care
• Assisting with inventory, merchandising, and opening/closing procedures
• Acting as a key point of contact between staff and management
• Assists with inventory control, ordering, and scheduling in coordination with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Store Manager
