Job summary

Fisherman\'s Market in Halifax is hiring a Part-Time Floor Supervisor to lead daily retail operations and guide a team toward an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced seafood environment.

You will coach staff, handle customer inquiries, manage inventory, and ensure smooth opening and closing procedures while collaborating closely with store leadership. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are available within the Mersey Group.

Responsibilities

• Support daily retail operations and ensure smooth customer flow

Position Overview

Lead the floor with freshness! We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Floor Supervisor to help guide our team and create an exceptional customer experience. What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting daily retail operations and ensuring smooth customer flow
• Leading by example - jumping in to assist with sales, service, and product knowledge
• Coaching and mentoring team members on the floor
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care
• Assisting with inventory, merchandising, and opening/closing procedures
• Acting as a key point of contact between staff and management
• Assists with inventory control, ordering, and scheduling in coordination with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Store Manager
