Job summary

Seafood 2000 Ltd. recherche un ou une opérateur(trice) saisonnier(ère) au sein d’une usine de transformation de fruits de mer au Canada. Le poste exige une disponibilité pour des périodes saisonnières et 30 heures par semaine, selon les besoins de production.

Le poste peut nécessiter une exposition à des environnements froids et bruyants. Les candidats doivent être capables de suivre des instructions, de travailler rapidement et avec précision, et d’appliquer les normes d’hygiène et de sécurité.

Qualifications

• Aucun diplôme nécessaire.
• Compétences de base requises en rigueur et précision.
• Polyvalence et capacité à travailler en équipe.

Responsibilities

• Couper, nettoyer et préparer le poisson ou fruits de mer avant la mise en marché ou le traitement.
• Transférer les poissons et crustacés vers la zone de travail.
• Vérifier les produits et l'emballage pour défauts et ajuster les machines si nécessaire.
• Désosser et enlever la chair des homards ou crustacés pour le conditionnement.
• Enregistrer les informations de production.
• Peser les poissons ou fruits de mer et les mettre en glace.
• Nettoyer les machines et les zones de travail immédiates.
• Trier les poissons par espèce, poids et destination.

• Cut, clean and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing
• Transport fish and shellfish to work area
• Check products and packaging for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards and perform corrective machine adjustments as required
• Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans preparatory to canning or further processing
• Record production information
• Weigh fish or shellfish, record weight and pack fish in ice
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Sort fish according to species, weight and destination
