Job summary

Anderson Air is seeking a highly skilled First Officer (SIC) to join our premier aircraft management team in Canada. You will operate as Second in Command on 604 private non-revenue flights and 704 charter revenue flights, including international legs.

Under PIC supervision, you will ensure flight safety, compliance with regulations, and professional coordination with maintenance, dispatch, and ATC. international experience is an asset and corporate aviation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2500 hours total time minimum.
• 500 hours jet time mandatory.
• Transport Canada ATPL.
• International experience an asset.
• Corporate aviation experience required.
• Ability to travel outside Canada.
• Ability to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Flight Safety and Compliance (Under the supervision of the PIC): Assume responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight, ensuring the highest level of safety for passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Flight Operations: Serve as the Second in Command for both 604 (Private, non-revenue) and 704 (Charter, revenue) non-scheduled Domestic and International passenger flights.
• Leadership and Teamwork (Under the supervision of the PIC): Provide clear guidance, instructions, and support to the flight crew, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.

The Position

As a First Officer (SIC), under the supervision of the PIC, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our flights. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring compliance with all regulations. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in our continued success and reputation in the industry.

Duties will be primarily associated with operating 604 (Private, non-revenue) passenger flights, and operating 704 (Charter, revenue) non-scheduled Domestic and International passenger flights.

Your Responsibilities

Flight Safety and Compliance (Under the supervision of the PIC):

• Assume responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight, ensuring the highest level of safety for passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Adhere to all aviation regulations, company policies, and procedures, including those outlined in the operations manual.

Flight Operations:

• Serve as the Second in Command for both 604 (Private, non-revenue) and 704 (Charter, revenue) non-scheduled Domestic and International passenger flights.
• Communicate effectively with the crew, passengers, and air traffic control to ensure smooth operations and timely departures and arrivals.

Leadership and Teamwork (Under the supervision of the PIC)

• Provide clear guidance, instructions, and support to the flight crew, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and dispatch, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues or concerns.

Your Experience

• 2500 Hours Total Time minimum
• 500 Hour Jet Time mandatory
• Transport Canada ATPL
• International experience an asset
• Corporate aviation experience required
• Honeywell Easy II Experience an asset
• Medium to Large aircraft experience
• Ability to travel outside Canada
• Ability to work in Canada
