Job summary

Shawenim Abinoojii Inc. seeks a White Buffalo Lodge Supervisor to oversee the Memengwaa Program transitional housing in Winnipeg, MB. You will supervise case managers, coordinate intakes, and ensure policy-compliant operations while supporting youth and staff.

Reporting to the Engagement Director, you will guide programming, conduct staff training, and manage records. A strong focus on confidentiality, trauma-informed care, and First Nations perspectives is essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary training in human services; 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of child welfare/First Nations contexts is an asset.
• Ability to address addictions, mental health, and trauma from a cultural lens.

Responsibilities

• Supervise case managers and housing support staff.
• Coordinate intakes, referrals and scheduling for staff.
• Ensure documentation, reporting and data entry are completed accurately.
• Provide crisis support to staff and tenants as needed.
• Maintain relationships with partners and funders.
• Oversee program budgets and approvals for spend.
