Qualifications

• Minimum three years of culinary experience in a large kitchen or 2.5 years with a diploma.
• Experience in Garde Manger, Hot Kitchen, and Line Cooking.
• Red Seal certification is an asset.

The Position

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of all relevant food items for your workstation and maintaining department standards in production and guest satisfaction, especially in the absence of the Chef de Partie
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers
• Ensure the team works according to expectations and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive, recognized culinary experience in a large kitchen or similar environment, or 2.5 years of experience with a diploma from a recognized culinary institution
• Experience in Garde Manger, Hot Kitchen, and Line Cooking
• Ability to train 2nd and 3rd Cooks
• Red Seal certification is an asset and may qualify for a premium rate
