Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have Current Emergency Medical Responder certification recognized in Manitoba.
Firefighter Level I & II certifications are compulsory.
Responsibilities
Respond to various emergency situations including fires and medical emergencies.
Provide emergency medical care at the EMR level.
Operate and maintain firefighting apparatus and equipment.
Skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work shifts (days, nights, weekends)
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current Emergency Medical Responder certification
Firefighter Level I & II (NFPA 1001)
NFPA 1035 & NFPA 1031 (Preferred)
Valid Class 4 MB driver's license with air brake endorsement
