Job description

Account Manager - Fire Systems

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee key accounts such as Suncor and Syncrude, and to grow our Fire Systems business in Northern Alberta.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing end-to-end operations of our Fort McMurray business, including project management, client relations, quoting, onsite visits, expediting equipment, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  2. Liaising with various departments and external partners such as engineering firms and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery.
  3. Developing and quoting systems with technical accuracy within company pricing guidelines.
  4. Staying current with product features, legislation, and regulations.
  5. Conducting site surveys, designing systems tailored to customer needs, and developing new accounts through prospecting and servicing existing clients.
  6. Preparing quotes and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding and responding to their needs promptly.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing complex fire projects and coordinating with multiple trades.
  2. Experience working with contractors, engineers, and distribution channels.
  3. Background in the construction market.
  4. Proven B2B sales experience with strong prospecting skills, including cold calling.
  5. Technical knowledge of fire systems or quick learning ability.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
