Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a seasoned Fire Protection professional to join our Quebec offices. You will help design and implement fire protection systems for diverse projects across Quebec, Canada, and overseas, collaborating with engineers, consultants, and technologists.

The role requires a college diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent, 7 years in fire protection, NFPA knowledge, and hydraulic calculation expertise. English is an asset for cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• College diploma in mechanical engineering or relevant training.
• 7 years of experience in fire protection.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards.
• Knowledge of HydraCalc software.
• Ability to perform and interpret hydraulic calculations.
• Good understanding of fire safety engineering principles.
• ASP construction card (asset).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of English is an asset for collaboration with teams outside Quebec or with clients.

You will be a key player in our great team and will participate in the design and implementation of various projects throughout Quebec, across the country, and even overseas, in institutional, industrial, and commercial settings for local and/or international clients. Your background
