Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in Fire Protection and Life Safety Design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the local licensing board.
• Programming capability to conceptualize and design complex systems.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage fire protection portions of complex projects.
• Design and review fire protection systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and hydraulic analyses.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines.
• Mentor junior designers and EITs.
• Visit project sites and support AHJ interactions.
