Job summary

Classic Fire + Life Safety in Toronto is seeking a Project Manager to oversee sprinkler and standpipe installations for new and existing buildings. You will coordinate with clients, design teams, and field staff to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in the fire protection industry, including sprinkler and standpipe system projects.
Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 14 standards and their application to installations.
Ability to read, interpret, and review construction drawings, fire protection drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Experience coordinating with General Contractors, Engineers, Architects, Owners, and installation teams.
Experience reviewing change documents, pricing changes, and managing project documentation.

Responsibilities

Oversee, schedule & ensure the completion of sprinkler/standpipe installation projects.
Coordinate with design, fabrication and installation personnel.
Perform project site visits and attend kickoff meetings.
Coordinate with General Contractors/Customers to meet deadlines and schedules.
Prepare material lists and review change documents for pricing.
