Fire Protection Inc is growing and we are currently looking for a Certified Fire Extinguisher Technician to join us in Edmonton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional fire extinguisher and related fire protection services to our customers while maintaining a high standard of safety, customer service, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Current Fire Extinguisher Technician certification is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Positive & professional attitude consistently.
  • Valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, service, maintain, and test portable fire extinguishers in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Inspect fire hoses and related fire protection equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with customers on a daily basis.
  • Complete required service documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide First Aid kit inspection and restocking services.
  • Identify deficiencies and recommend appropriate products or services based on applicable codes and customer requirements.
  • Perform other related field service duties as required.
