Chubb Fire & Security Canada powered by API Group is seeking an Experienced Fire Alarm Technician to verify, inspect, repair and maintain fire alarm systems at customer sites. The role may require on-call rotation and overtime as needed, including maintenance of emergency lighting and portable extinguishers.

Applicants should have 2+ years in electronics/electrical fields and servicing fire alarm systems, with CFAA certification and a valid provincial driver’s license.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience servicing fire alarm systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must have a valid CFAA certification.
• Must have a valid Provincial Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Independently perform quality work and improve customer satisfaction.
• Test and commission fire alarm systems and ensure occupancy can be taken.
• Complete reports and documents related to work performed.
• Inspect and verify fire alarm systems per Can/ULC S536/S537.
• Inspect fire extinguishers per NFPA-10 and emergency lighting as required.
• Communicate with customers to determine issues with the system.
