Job summary

Ontario Public Service is seeking a FIR System Support Analyst to maintain and support the Financial Information Return (FIR) system used for municipal data collection. This role involves Excel/VBA expertise, Hyperion/Essbase, and website support within the FIR unit of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing in Toronto.

You will work under the FIR System/Website Administrator and help develop financial models, ensure proper user documentation, and mentor other staff on best practices for

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA.
• Experience with Hyperion Planning / Essbase / Smart View.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle Apex.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to municipalities and municipal auditors in the FIR reporting template.
• Provide technical support for FIR reporting applications.
• Maintain FIR year changes in Hyperion Planning / Essbase cube.
• Assist in FIR website updates and maintenance.
• Mentor staff on FIR data modelling best practices.
