Freudenberg is seeking a FinOps Analyst to optimize cloud and AI spending across the business. You will turn usage, cost, and contractual data into reliable reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights for budgeting and allocation across IT, Finance, and Operations.

This role collaborates with stakeholders in an international environment, builds dashboards, and establishes policies for tagging, budgets, and cost governance, while driving optimization initiatives and measurable savings in

Formación

• University degree as specified or equivalent experience.
• 1–4 years in FinOps, cloud cost management, or IT Controlling.
• Understanding of cloud and AI cost models.
• Experience with cost allocation, tagging, budgeting, forecasting, showback/chargeback.
• Hands-on with BI/reporting or data analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and structured mindset.
• Numerical confidence and attention to detail.
• Able to translate data into insights and actions.
• Collaborative, proactive, ownership mindset.
• Able to communicate with tech and business stakeholders in an international environment.
• Very good English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Consolidate cloud and AI cost and usage data for reporting and forecasting.
• Maintain tagging, metadata, and allocation standards.
• Analyze unit economics and consumption drivers.
• Review spend against budgets, forecasts, and commitments.
• Monitor budgets and thresholds.
• Identify anomalies and underutilized resources.
• Coordinate optimization initiatives and savings tracking.
• Support decisions on scaling or stopping AI initiatives.
• Establish policies for cost governance.
• Automate reporting and alerts.
• Coordinate forecasting, budgeting, month-end processes.
• Build dashboards and reports for IT, Finance, Controlling, and Procurement.
