Buller District Council in Westport, New Zealand is hiring a Financial Services Support Officer – Banking & Rates to join our Finance Team. This role focuses on accurate processing of rates, banking schedules, rebate handling, and financial reporting.
You will support customers and ensure financial integrity across Council processes. We seek an organized professional with 3–5 years in finance, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of general ledger and accounting principles.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-orientated Financial Services Officer – Banking & Rates to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance administrator who enjoys working across banking, rates administration, customer service, reconciliations, and financial systems. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Council's rates, revenue, and financial processes while helping deliver exceptional service to our ratepayers, residents, suppliers, and staff.
