Financial Services Representative in Investments

A career as a Financial Services Representative in Investments at National Bank offers an opportunity to create a positive impact for our clients. In this role, you’ll support Financial Planners in all their administrative investment activities and participate in business development with clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Optimize interactions with clients regarding their investment transactions' technical, administrative, and operational aspects.
  2. Adopt an advisory approach by identifying opportunities and referring clients to the appropriate specialists.
  3. Propose transaction and investment solutions when analyzing client files, as needed.
  4. Support Financial Planners in data analysis and resolving complex files to ensure client satisfaction.
  5. Ensure compliance with established processes and the implementation of new features.
  6. Maintain adherence to compliance and risk management rules.
Team and Work Environment:

You will be part of a collaborative team known for empathy and open-mindedness. This role offers opportunities for skill development through training, practical learning, and discussions with colleagues. The position reports to the Financial Planner Manager.

This role requires physical presence in the workplace to meet client and operational needs. We offer flexible work arrangements to promote work/life balance, including adaptable schedules and flexible leave options.

Prerequisites:
  • High school diploma with 3 years of relevant experience or college diploma with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Mutual Fund Representative (MFR) license, or willingness to obtain it within 3 months of hiring.
  • Experience in customer service and interest in business development.
  • Basic investment knowledge.
  • Experience supporting administrative functions and processing investment, financing, and transaction products.
  • Proficiency with IT tools and digital platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests efficiently.
