We advise leading Canadian financial institutions (e.g., Banks, Insurers, Credit Unions) on a wide variety of strategic and operational issues as well as design and implement transformational journeys to keep our clients competitive during times of change.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Financial Services, Digital Banking Operations, Consulting – Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high-quality client service, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Help establish, maintain, and grow relationships with senior operations stakeholders in the financial services industry
• Lead and deliver projects, bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members to enhance operations
• Deliver significant business results utilizing strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative while keeping innovation at the forefront
• Identify and discuss key issues with clients to uncover potential opportunities
• Manage end-to-end delivery of consulting projects, including project economics, ensuring client satisfaction and relevance
• Develop, coach, and grow team members
• Communicate complex material effectively in written and oral formats to various audiences, including C-suite, mid-level, and front-line stakeholders
• Build strong networks within the firm to identify and support opportunities across different business units and sectors
• Conduct market research and analyses, synthesizing complex data into meaningful insights and employing analytical frameworks effectively

Experiences and Skills You’ll Use to Solve

• Significant experience in a leading management consulting firm with knowledge of operations in financial services, including middle/back-office functions in retail, commercial, investment banking, or wealth management
• Credibility with clients through subject matter expertise and industry knowledge, driving business growth
• Expertise in operational excellence, process optimization, RPA, and AI/Gen AI related to banking operations
• Deep understanding of the 3 lines of defense model, focusing on the 1st line and risk management
• Experience leading large-scale managed services and overseeing global capability centers
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for presenting in a business context and maintaining strong relationships
• Ability to manage multiple client projects end-to-end while staying ahead of industry trends
• Self-motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality work and developing skills
• Interest in thought leadership, business development, and securing project extensions
• Proven success in establishing and maintaining client relationships at various levels
• Comfort working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
