Job summary

The Mason Group Inc is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst for a 6-month contract with hybrid work in Downtown Toronto. The role focuses on producing performance reports, reconciling data, and supporting senior management with ad-hoc analyses.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience with MS Access, and familiarity with Essbase/SmartView, Tableau, and Oracle. 1+ year in finance or data analysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with MS Access.
• Knowledge of Essbase/SmartView.
• 1+ years of related business experience (Preferably in finance, or data analyzing).

Responsibilities

• Produce regular performance and analytical reports for various groups and explain month over month and quarter over quarter fluctuations.
• Review and approve commission and Partner Referral adjustment submissions and prepare routine entries.
• Confirm and reconcile report results against information sources to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize Essbase, Tableau, and Oracle to resolve issues and generate reports.
• Develop new reports and support business projects and controls.
• Assist with validation and attestation processes for data adequacy.
• Analyze outputs of risk management reporting to identify weaknesses.
