State Street Corporation is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting, Assistant Vice President to lead a diverse team responsible for interim and annual financial statements for alternative investments. Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Six or more years of experience in alternative funds fund administration function (financial reporting preferred) or accounting, audit or related business activity.

Responsibilities

• Manage interim/annual financial statements for alternative investments products (e.g., hedge, private equity, real estate, fund of funds, business development companies).
• Lead, direct and manage the department in collaboration with your manager and senior colleagues.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for clients with responsibility for service requirements of client relationships.
• Allocate clients and resources within the team.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues globally to service clients/projects.
• Recruit, train, develop and retain a team of managers who meet client financial reporting needs and manage their teams.

Education

BS degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
