Job summary

Adecco is actively seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our client's team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and audit support.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Operations. The contract is for 2 months with a possibility of extension, offering a Monday-to-Friday schedule and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Merchant Sales leadership to understand sales trends, customer performance, pricing, product mix, and profitability.
• Turn financial data into meaningful insights to drive business growth.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and explain key performance drivers, risks, opportunities, and results.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting to develop revenue, volume, margin, and cost projections.
• Monitor metrics, investigate variances, identify trends, and recommend performance improvements.

• Pay Rate: $40-$42/hr
• Shift: Mondays to Fridays 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Job type: 2 months contract with a possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:
