Join a globally distributed technology organization at the forefront of open-source software, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise innovation. As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will lead regional financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and corporate performance analysis to support strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth. You will manage a team of analysts, develop sophisticated financial models, and translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership and department heads. Working across Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, and Product teams, you will help strengthen financial reporting, evaluate commercial opportunities, and improve business performance. You will also contribute to critical financial documentation and reporting initiatives in preparation for a potential initial public offering (IPO). This remote opportunity is ideal for a strategic, analytically minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-growing, international technology environment and enjoys turning financial insights into measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting: Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Deliver executive reporting: Develop dashboards, management reports, Board presentations, and monthly financial results that provide leadership with clear visibility into business performance.
  • Analyze financial performance: Monitor monthly results, leading indicators, and key performance indicators (KPIs), identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations to support annual plan attainment.
  • Drive commercial and strategic analysis: Evaluate growth opportunities, establish commercial targets, assess strategic initiatives, and support data-driven business decisions.
  • Manage financial models and analytics: Maintain and improve financial models, analytical frameworks, reporting methodologies, and business intelligence tools to enhance the accuracy and usefulness of financial insights.
  • Collaborate across departments: Partner with Product Managers to consolidate market insights and competitive intelligence, and work closely with Accounting and Investor Relations on month-end close, financial reviews, and reporting activities.
  • Improve financial systems and processes: Lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen financial controls, improve data quality, streamline workflows, and increase reporting efficiency.
  • Support IPO readiness: Contribute to the preparation of critical public financial documents, investor materials, and regulatory filings associated with an initial public offering.
  • Lead and develop the team: Guide a regional team of financial analysts, promote analytical excellence, and establish effective processes for delivering accurate, timely, and relevant financial information.
Requirements
  • Academic background: Strong academic performance, with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Financial planning expertise: Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting. Previous experience as an FP&A subject matter expert is an advantage.
  • Technology sector experience: Experience working in a high-growth technology or software business with operations across multiple countries and currencies, ideally with a combination of go‑to‑market models.
  • Analytical capabilities: Exceptional problem‑solving skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for business leaders.
  • Financial tools proficiency: Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills, along with experience using business intelligence tools to develop dashboards, analyze trends, and support executive reporting.
  • Accounting knowledge: A solid understanding of core accounting principles, financial reporting, month‑end close processes, and variance analysis.
  • Strategic communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to present financial insights clearly and collaborate effectively with senior executives and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Leadership and ownership: A results‑oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while consistently meeting commitments.
  • Integrity and professional judgment: High ethical standards, authenticity, credibility, and sound judgment when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Adaptability and curiosity: A self‑motivated approach, willingness to explore diverse business challenges, and enthusiasm for continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Additional qualifications: An MBA, relevant professional certifications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be beneficial.
  • Travel availability: Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to four times per year for company gatherings lasting approximately one to two weeks.
