Opportunity Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals in the Val D'Or and Rouyn-Noranda regions to join RBC as a Financial Planner. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of mass affluent clients by providing comprehensive financial reviews, building long-term relationships through expert advice, and delivering ongoing services. Your energy, passion for holistic financial planning, and target-oriented approach will enable you to offer world-class solutions that help clients achieve their goals. The compensation includes a base salary plus variable incentives, allowing you to shape your future and that of your clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide tailored financial planning advice to help clients reach their financial goals using RBC's extensive investment, credit, and banking solutions.
2. Maintain and grow your client portfolio through value-based relationship management, achieving set performance targets.
3. Develop relationships with service partners and local markets to maximize business opportunities and referrals.
4. Manage a portfolio of approximately 350 clients.

Minimum Requirements

• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
• At least 3 years of experience in financial planning.
• Proven skills in networking and client acquisition.
• Ability to develop a strong referral network.
• Fluency in French to serve RBC’s French-speaking clients.
