Job summary

RBC Vancouver is seeking a Financial Planner to grow and manage a portfolio of mass affluent clients, delivering comprehensive reviews and strategies aligned with long-term goals. You will provide holistic planning, leveraging RBC investments and banking solutions to help clients reach their objectives.

In this role you will build lasting client and partner relationships, pursue growth targets, and participate in a supportive training program within Personal & Commercial Banking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognized financial planning designation (PFP®, QAFP™, or CFP®).
• Must hold a mutual funds license (IFIC or CSC).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning in a client-facing role.
• Strong financial acumen and proven networking, client acquisition, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to develop market presence and partner relationships across the market.

What will you do?

• Provide tailor-made financial planning advice and help clients reach their goals, using our unparalleled array of investment, credit, and everyday banking solutions
• Actively grow, expand and maintain your portfolio of clients using value-based relationship management practices, achieving performance targets
• Cultivate relationships with service partners and local markets to optimize business opportunities and referrals

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Financial Planning Designation (PFP®, QAFP™ or CFP®)
• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial planning
• A strong financial acumen, along with proven networking, client acquisition, and relationship management skills, and track record of partnering and collaboration
