Job summary

RBC Abbotsford is seeking a Financial Planner to grow and manage a portfolio of mass affluent clients, delivering tailored financial planning and ongoing reviews. You will provide holistic advice and build lasting client relationships through RBC’s investment, credit and banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have Financial Planning designation (PFP, QAFP or CFP).
• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial planning.
• Strong financial acumen with proven networking and client acquisition skills.
• Ability to build COI relationships and cultivate partner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailor-made financial planning advice to help clients reach their goals using RBC’s investments, credit and banking solutions.
• Grow and maintain your client portfolio using value-based relationship management and achieve performance targets.

What will you do?

• Provide tailor‑made financial planning advice and help clients reach their goals, using our unparalleled array of investment, credit, and everyday banking solutions
• Actively grow, expand and maintain your portfolio of clients using value‑based relationship management practices, achieving performance targets
• Cultivate relationships with service partners and local markets to optimize business opportunities and referrals

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Financial Planning Designation (PFP®, QAFP™ or CFP®)
• Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial planning
