Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Financial Planner to grow and manage a dedicated client portfolio, delivering comprehensive financial plans and exceptional service. You’ll engage with new and existing clients, build personalized strategies, and guide decisions using advanced tools. Flexibility to work at multiple banking centres with some travel is required.

You will operate in a relationship-driven role, focusing on trust and long-term client outcomes while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree/diploma required or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Certified professional with CIRO-ID RR, PFP/CFP or QAFP designations (or Quebec equivalents).
• For Quebec, AMF licensing and related courses are assets.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to deliver trusted investment advice and personal financial plans.
• Develop and execute local sales plans to convert leads into clients.
• Foster community connections and expand the client network.
