You will sit in on and eventually lead planning meetings, build out the analysis behind client plans, and be a confident voice clients trust the moment they pick up the phone.

You will take on the clients we see as the right fit for these meetings and manage higher-net-worth relationships.

This role is built for someone entrepreneurial. Someone who wants to build something, not just maintain it.

What You Will Do
  • Take on regular planning meetings with new and existing clients, leading the conversation with confidence and clarity
  • Handle initial meetings with prospects who book online, and run info-gathering calls with clients to build out their plans
  • Manage HNW abd UNW clients Financial Plans
  • Prepare client meeting agendas, packages, and supporting documentation
  • Draft post-meeting summary letters and track follow-up items to completion
  • Build and update financial plans in Conquest as client circumstances change, and provide quick, useful insights for financial plans
  • Enter and manage YCharts data related to clients' investments
  • Compile and organize investment account information, statements, and plan inputs ahead of meetings
  • Help prospect new clients, including cold calling and marketing outreach
  • Onboard new clients, walk them through the welcome process, and make sure the first 90 days feel seamless
  • Service our clients across account work and follow-ups, keeping everything moving and in good order
  • Maintain clean, current client records in the CRM
  • Use project management applications to track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with the Wealth portfolio management team on implementation and account setup
  • Coordinate with custodians, life insurance companies, and internal partners to resolve issues and keep workflows moving
  • Stay current on planning concepts, Canadian tax rules, and platform updates, and bring ideas back to the team
What We Are Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, ideally with financial planning exposure
  • Very confident and an excellent speaker. Clients should feel taken care of every time they hear from you
  • Detail-oriented and hyper organized. You catch the things other people miss
  • Entrepreneurial. You want to build, prospect, and grow, not just maintain
  • Great with technology and AI. You use tools to work faster and smarter, and you are quick to pick up new ones
  • Working experience with planning software (Conquest), YCharts, CRMs, back-office software, DocuSign, and project management applications is preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of Canadian account types (RRSP, RRIF, TFSA, RESP, FHSA, non-registered, corporate, etc.)
  • Pathway started to a CIM designation is preferred, with a clear interest in becoming a portfolio manager. CSC, IFIC, CFP, or QAFP coursework is a strong asset
  • Strong written communication to match your phone presence
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, while staying connected to the team
Work Setup
  • Initial training will be in-person in Toronto
  • Once training is complete, the role moves to fully remote
  • Monthly and quarterly team meetings, some of which may be in-person
Why would you like to be part of our team.
  • Independent firm with a clear growth trajectory and real career runway
  • A genuine blend of planning, client work, and business development, so you build the full skill set of a modern advisor
  • Direct exposure to senior advisors and the full scope of a modern wealth management practice
  • A clear path toward the CIM and portfolio manager track for the right person
  • Remote-first flexibility after training, with a collaborative, supportive team
  • Your work will be visible, and your contributions will matter
