Job summary

National Bank of Canada seeks a Financial Planner to advise clients and draft personalized financial plans to meet life goals. You will identify investment and financing needs, advise clients on market-driven solutions, and develop opportunities to grow client relationships and portfolio volume.

You will work within a team that emphasizes training, flexible working conditions, and a strong culture of service, compliance, and client education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or IPF recognition is required or on track for IPF within 24 months.
  • Diploma from IPF or on track to obtain it within 24 months; Mutual fund representative (MFR) licence; Experience in portfolio management with business development objectives; Business development experience in financial advisory services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify clients’ investment and financing needs to draft a personalized financial plan.
  • Advise clients based on needs and market trends to offer customized solutions.
  • Create business development opportunities to increase clients and portfolio volume.

Job description

A career as a National Bank Financial Planner means you'll be a financial planning expert who advises clients and drafts financial plans to meet their life goals. This position allows you to take on an advisory role and develop your business relationships and leadership skills while having a positive impact.

Your job
  • Identify clients’ investment and financing needs in order to draft a personalized financial plan
  • Advise clients based on their needs and market trends to offer customized solutions
  • Create business development opportunities to increase the number of clients and the volume of existing portfolios
  • Make sure that service and operational quality standards are applied, and compliance and risk management rules are followed

Prerequisites :
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent recognized by the IPF

  • Business development experience in the financial advisory services field
