As a BMO Financial Planner, you will be part of a collaborative team with access to a strong support network to help you achieve your full potential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing financial and investment planning and advice to serve the best interests of clients.
  • Assessing client needs and offering solutions through the sale of managed products and services (e.g., mutual funds, retirement plans).
  • Referring clients to business partners for additional solutions.
  • Engaging proactively with customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
  • Implementing business development strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Building relationships within the community to expand BMO’s business.
  • Generating referrals and supporting sales targets.
  • Developing and executing relationship management plans.
  • Responding to investment requests and referring clients to partners when appropriate.
  • Analyzing data to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Delivering timely and accurate service.
  • Introducing clients to investment strategies and helping them set financial goals.
  • Staying informed on current products, practices, and trends.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Must meet licensing and registration requirements for a Financial Planner in the province or territory.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial industry.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Starting salary is $55,000 plus commission potential.
