Job summary

RBC Wealth Management is seeking a Wealth Specialist to deliver comprehensive financial planning and tax strategies to a dynamic client base in Edmonton. You will manage holistic wealth plans, build lasting client relationships, and provide expert guidance on wealth strategies while collaborating with a talented team.

In this role, you will own projects end-to-end, prioritize initiatives, and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and delivery.

Qualifications

  • CFP designation is required.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment; takes initiative.
  • Demonstrates genuine passion for client experience and helping others succeed.
  • Confident meeting with clients as an expert.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can prioritize workload independently.
  • Comfort using AI tools to enhance efficiency and delivery.
  • 2–3 years of tax planning experience within an accounting firm (nice to have CPA).

Responsibilities

  • Present financial plans to clients, explaining strategies and recommendations as a trusted expert.
  • Develop and execute personalized tax planning and wealth strategies (family trusts, estate planning, wealth optimization).
  • Support relationship managers on planning and tax inquiries for seamless client service.
  • Manage multiple client files with meticulous organization and timely delivery.
  • Build relationships with key partners for coordinated client solutions.
  • Master tools/software to develop and deliver financial plans and leverage AI.
  • Collaborate with RBC partners and internal teams to coordinate comprehensive solutions.
  • Take ownership of project prioritization and execution with minimal supervision.
