As a Financial Independent Advisor at Co-operators, you will help individuals and families achieve their financial goals through holistic advice and tailored solutions. You will foster strong client relationships, provide expert financial guidance, and drive business growth. How You Will Create Impact

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of clients' financial situations to create goal-based investment and financial plans.
  • Advise clients on estate planning to meet their needs and goals, collaborating with internal and external resources.
  • Provide quotes, upsell/cross-sell products, and conduct risk assessments per underwriting guidelines.
  • Cultivate community relationships to enhance visibility and maximize new business opportunities.

  • Remain focused and optimistic in pursuing goals despite barriers, effectively managing your sales portfolio.
  • Develop plans to expand market penetration and apply innovative, client-centric operational improvements.

To Join Our Team
  • Hold a life insurance license with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF).
  • Have 2-3 years of experience in life insurance sales and business development.
  • Possess a college or university degree in a related field.
  • Engage directly with clients and service providers in their environments.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of life and wealth insurance products.
  • Strong underwriting skills are an asset.
  • Proficiency in both English and French is essential for communicating with diverse clients, groups, and teams. Non-French duties are not assignable to other team members.
