Job description

Manulife’s Individual Insurance team currently has an opportunity for a New Business Case Coordinator.

The primary responsibility is to provide proactive support to our Corporate Account, National Account, and Independent Advisor offices, as well as liaise with internal departments to ensure new life insurance applications are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Build one-to-one relationships with assigned branches, serving as a consistent point of contact during the New Business process.
  2. Proactively follow up on all pending cases to ensure service standards are met.
  3. Perform outbound calls, emails, or send new business notifications to keep clients informed of important details.
  4. Assume ownership of assigned files, understand urgency, and assist in resolving issues that may delay processing.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bilingual (Mandarin & English) is required to support clients from various jurisdictions.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Customer service experience with the ability to communicate effectively across all management levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Additional customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills.
  2. Ability to adapt to ongoing change and influence others effectively.
  3. Research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  4. Familiarity with life insurance terminology and products is an asset.

Salary Range: $44,775.00 CAD - $74,625.00 CAD
