Job summary

Money Mentors Alberta is seeking a Financial Educator to expand reach through strong business development and top‑quality financial education for employed and self‑employed Albertans. You will cultivate new partnerships, deliver engaging sessions, and promote Money Mentors' services across the province.

Qualifications

• Education: diploma or degree; extensive work experience will be considered.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in combination of business development, facilitating, training or financial services.
• Proficiency in presenting and communicating clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage time independently and meet targets and deadlines.
• Experience using digital tools and platforms for virtual education and outreach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with employers, creditors, community organizations, professional associations, unions and self-employed individuals to promote financial education services.
• Present Money Mentors’ services to partners and clients, tailoring programs to different audiences.
• Deliver engaging financial literacy workshops and webinars; occasionally appear on TV or radio and participate in events.
• Create educational content for in-person, online, and print formats to ensure accessibility.
