Job summary

CDI College – Winnipeg is seeking a Financial Coordinator to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the campus and analyze financial data to ensure prompt issue resolution. You will guide students on funding options and financial aid applications, supporting campus administration to improve the student experience.

This role requires solid MS Office skills, strong numerical ability, exceptional organization, and the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while upholding College

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma or certificate in Business or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Minimum one year education in Accounting or Finance.
  • One to three years’ office experience, with at least one year in accounting/finance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day financial operations of the campus.
  • Continuously analyzing campus financial data to guarantee responsiveness to issues.
  • Providing information, guidance and assistance to students on funding and financial aid applications.
  • Supporting administrative functions to enhance the student experience.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and standards.
  • Upholding college standards in all actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location: CDI College – Winnipeg

Compensation: $45,000–$50,000 annually

Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Your Day To Day
  • Managing the day-to-day financial operations of the campus
  • Continuously analyzing campus financial data to guarantee responsiveness to issues
  • Providing information, guidance and assistance to students on funding and the financial aid application process
  • Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and standards
  • Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring To The Table

To be successful in the Financial Coordinator position, an individual must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

Education And Experience
  • Degree, diploma or certificate in Business or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year education in Accounting or Finance.
  • One to three years’ office experience, with minimum one year experience in accounting/finance, in a service oriented, fast paced environment.
Skills And Abilities
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to troubleshoot minor computer problems.
  • Superior skills in working with numbers, detail orientated.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good judgment and ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods.
  • Understanding of the programs and services provided by the Company.
  • Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
