The Dunn Group, anchored in Vancouver with growth across BC and Alaska, seeks a Controller who will own the accounting function across multiple entities and two countries. You’ll design scalable systems, coach staff, and partner with the CFO and CEO to mature the finance function while supporting high-spend marketing growth.
This builder’s role demands a CPA, 7–10 years in accounting leadership, and cross-border expertise to ensure compliant, consolidated books across geographies.
We’re not looking for someone to maintain the books. We’re looking for someone to build what comes next.
The Dunn Group of Companies is a high-growth, locally owned operator in the Pacific Northwest. We run at high volume, grow intentionally, and hold ourselves to a high standard — for our customers and for each other. We move fast, operate as one team, and take genuine pride in what we build together.
We’re looking for a Controller who thrives in that kind of environment.
Renewal by Andersen is the full-service replacement window and door division of Andersen Corporation — a 125-year-old brand and the most recognized name in windows and doors in North America. We don’t just sell windows. We deliver an end-to-end customer experience, from consultation through installation, backed by one of the most trusted brands in the industry.
The Dunn Group owns and operates two large-scale, high-growth Renewal by Andersen locations in the Pacific Northwest — serving all of British Columbia and the state of Alaska — with our head office based in Vancouver. We are locally owned and operated, entrepreneurial in spirit, and serious about building something exceptional.
That growth is real, it’s accelerating, and it creates a genuine opportunity for someone who wants to be part of building the financial infrastructure that supports it.
This is a builder’s role. You’ll own the accounting function across multiple entities and two countries, lead a team that’s ready to be developed, and design the systems and workflows that let us scale without losing control. You’ll work directly with our CFO and CEO and be a key voice in how the finance function matures alongside the business.
One thing that sets this role apart: our marketing and advertising operation is a significant part of how we grow — in dollar volume, transaction complexity, and strategic importance. Building the systems and controls to support that investment is a defining part of this job. If you’ve worked in a high-volume, high-spend growth environment before, you’ll know exactly what that means.
We grow fast, work hard, and genuinely enjoy what we do. Customer experience is what we live for — employee experience is how we bring it to life. If you’re at your best in a place where your work has real impact, the environment is positive and supportive, and there’s still plenty left to build — this is the right seat for you.
