In this strategic role, you will work closely with senior leadership, manage financial operations, and develop a high-performing team in a dynamic, technology-first environment.
Ideal candidates will have 8–10 years of experience in accounting within the retail sector, with a strong focus on internal controls, team leadership, and effective communication in both French and English.
Join our entrepreneurial culture at Blinds To Go and make a meaningful impact on our financial practices.
In business since 1954, Blinds To Go is a vertically integrated window treatment retailer with operations across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. We design, manufacture, and sell, owning the full value chain — which means our Finance function carries real weight and operates with a complexity that rewards serious professionals.
We are entrepreneurial at heart: decisions get made, contributions get noticed, and the people around the table are the people running the company.
This is an opportunity to own the accounting and finance function end-to-end across a multi-currency, multi-entity organization, lead a capable team, and build something that lasts.
Reporting to senior executive leadership, the Controller will play a central role in the day-to-day financial operations of the company, working in close collaboration with the finance leadership team across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. You will work directly with management on business decisions, implement best practices, strengthen internal controls, and develop a high-performing finance team in a fast-growing, multi-site environment.
You will be directly involved in all accounting and finance related activities of the company, including financial policies, practices and controls. The right person will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where processes aren’t always perfect – yet. You’ll bring structure and accountability, but you’ll also understand the realities of a high‑growth, technology‑first business. You’ll demonstrate high leadership to steward changes with the team.
