Job summary

NexWav, based in Canada, seeks a Financial Controller to lead multi-site accounting operations. You will supervise and develop the team, manage closings, and drive financial insights that influence operational decisions.

The role is based in Boucherville with travel to support teams as needed. Ideal candidates hold a CPA title (or in progress), have at least 3 years in accounting, and excel in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• CPA title obtained or in progress.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-site environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements for several entities.

Your Daily Impact

Prepare monthly financial statements for several entities

Participate in monthly and year-end closings

Supervise certain activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting

Ensure the reconciliation of inventories and various balance sheet items

Prepare files for external auditors

Collaborate in the preparation of budgets and monitoring of financial performance

Participate in the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls

Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of work methods

Collaborate with different branches to ensure consistency in accounting practices

Occasionally travel to support teams on the ground

Your Expertise

CPA title obtained or in progress

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting

Experience in an accounting firm considered an asset

Experience in a multi-entity or multi-site environment

Very good mastery of Excel

Comfortable with accounting systems and technological tools

Valid driver's license
