Job description

We are working with a reputable private organization to find a driven and hands-on Financial Consultant to lead financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and ERP implementation. This is an ideal opportunity for a CPA-designated professional with a passion for process improvement and strategic finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Management:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting for the Canadian entities
• Prepare and present monthly financial statement packages to leadership
• Lead the external audit process and enhance internal audit frameworks
• Support credit risk processes and provide backup oversight to credit management
• Monitor daily bank transactions and head office AP processes

Strategic Projects:

• Serve as the Finance lead on ERP implementation, including testing, training, and documentation
• Partner with executive leadership on ad hoc financial and operational projects

Leadership & Culture:

• Act as a key cultural leader and change agent within the finance team
• Drive initiatives that improve team engagement and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent)
• 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with exposure to both reporting and leadership
• Strong understanding of Canadian ASPE (experience with US GAAP is an asset)
• Prior involvement in audits and full-cycle accounting
• Proven ability to lead or influence ERP implementations or process overhauls
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and excellent organizational skills
