Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will support the Manager by proactively partnering with the Supply Chain Management Team to provide in-depth insight into business performance, help drive the business, and support planning and analysis for better decision making. This role involves analyzing and reporting on productivity and trends in Distribution & Transportation, profitability, key performance metrics, and other ad hoc reports. The position works closely with the Supply Chain Operations Team to contribute to the long-term growth, development, and profitability of the business.

Job Duties:

1. Support month-end close and prepare accrual entries.
2. Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and budget.
3. Report on Distribution Center (DC) and transportation KPIs.
4. Provide regular reports to management and executives to support decision-making.
5. Assist in the timely completion of forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
6. Prepare operational reviews for management and provide insights for improvement.
7. Perform analysis for major new projects/investments.
8. Conduct ad hoc analyses as required.

Job Specifications:

Unique Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Access; advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration, influence, and effective communication.
• CPA designation is an asset.
