Base pay range

CA$52.42 / hr - CA$52.42 / hr

Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite)

Duration : 6 months

Contract Type : T4 only

Pay Rate : CA$52.42 / Hour

Description

• The consultants will be essential to support a general ledger project with an emphasis on ensuring that the reporting hierarchies in S4 / HANA are accurate for future reporting purposes.
• This consultant will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies within S / 4 HANA against existing hierarchies used for financial and regulatory reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP.
• The consultant is expected to make recommendations at the general ledger account level for alignment and work with a broad set of stakeholders.
• This role required someone who is a self-starter, organized, and is great at cross-collaboration.

Must Have Requirements :

• 5-7 years of financial and / or regulatory reporting experience at a consolidated level
• Experience within large financial institutions - Background in Accounting (reporting end)
• Confident working with large reporting hierarchies comprising of thousands of GL accounts
• Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.

Nice to Have Requirements :

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
• Previous experience analyzing and enhancing reporting hierarchies
• Familiarity with S / 4HANA (preferably previous experience)
