Job summary

Fitness World Canada is seeking a Financial Analyst reporting to our VP of Finance to translate operations into actionable insights for the executive team. You will analyze results, own regular analyses, and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls across our multi-location network.

This role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience as Financial Analyst, multi-unit preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to automate analyses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results - KPIs, margins, pricing, and trends.
• Own daily, weekly, and monthly analyses to identify cost improvements.
• Prepare cash flow projections and operational reports.
• Support budget and forecast development with department managers.
• Build financial models and scenarios for projects.
