Job summary

CRH Canada in Oakville is seeking a Financial Analyst to support monthly closes, reporting, and analysis. This permanent, full-time role offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within our construction and manufacturing environment.

You will compile reconciliations, prepare presentations, and partner with Corporate Finance to drive insights, accuracy, and timely decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong financial analysis and forecasting abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reconciliations, reports and presentations; support ad-hoc reporting.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting for income statement, balance sheet and cash flows.
• Support month-end close activities in a timely manner.
• Analyze monthly results and explain variances vs forecast and prior year.
