Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Financial Analyst in Canada to support Financial Planning and Analysis, Investment Management. The role involves partnering with finance teams to optimize capital deployment and governance, with a focus on ROI-driven investment decisions.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a CPA/CA/CMA CGA title or progress toward one, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA/CA/CMA CGA or in progress preferred.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; Power BI/Power Apps asset.
• Bilingual (English and French).

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance teams to support capital deployment strategies.
• Lead corporate capital allocation governance processes.
• Support development of investment business cases and ROI culture.
• Maintain oversight of investments, including tracking, reporting and audits.
• Coordinate and facilitate capital investment approvals across the organization.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Prepare financial analyses and respond to management requests.

How to thrive in this role?

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Hold an accounting title (CPA : CA, CMA, CGA) or in the process to obtain it
• Have a minimum of five years of relevant experience

• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and SAP; experience with Power BI and Power Apps is considered an asset
