Tri-Mach Group Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Ontario. You will support budgeting, analyze financial statements, and build models to influence operational decisions. The role emphasizes dashboards, KPI tracking, and profitability analysis by customer, project, and location.

The ideal candidate has a finance/accounting degree and 2+ years of experience, with strong Power BI and NAV Dynamics skills, plus excellent communication and analytical capabilities.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
• Proficient in Power BI and dashboard report creation.
• Proficient with NAV Dynamics is an asset.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.

Responsabilidades

• Reviewing and analyzing actual financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
• Develop financial dashboards and KPIs for management.
• Prepare profitability analysis by customer, project, business unit, product/service line, or location.
• Analyze gross margin trends and identify opportunities for margin improvement.
• Assisting with month end processes
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and meeting with department leaders monthly on budget/actual.
• Analyze labour utilization, overtime, productivity, and labour-cost trends.
• Develop costing models to support pricing and quoting decisions, as required.
• Analyze purchasing and material-cost trends, developing reporting to inform business of material changes
• Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
• Developing financial projections and building financial models.
• Prepare financial analysis to support leadership and Board decision-making, ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Build business cases for new equipment, facilities, technology, or other investments.
• Support acquisition analysis, including historical financial analysis, normalization, valuation inputs, and financial due diligence.
• Support long-term financial planning and enterprise-value initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial models, reporting templates, and dashboards.
• Extract and analyze information from the ERP and accounting systems
• Work with Finance and Operations to improve costing, reporting, and financial processes.
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
