Job summary

Shared Health is seeking a Finance Analyst for the Corporate Finance team in Winnipeg. The role focuses on accurate processing of invoices and journal entries, budget maintenance, and generating management reports.

The candidate will support variance analysis, month-end activities, and various analytical tasks while collaborating with Operational Managers in a team-driven environment. Hybrid work arrangement in Manitoba is available.

Qualifications

• Three years of computerized accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, with experience in invoice preparation and reconciliation, General Ledger maintenance, and the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Experience handling large data volumes with high attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient with computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Accurate processing of invoices and journal entries, and the reconciliation of monthly invoice-related transactions.
• Budget maintenance.
• Development, maintenance and generation of recurring management reports regarding performance, both financial and statistical.
• Assisting with analysis of variances, account reconciliations, month end analysis and other analytical functions as required.
• Assisting with other budgeting, reporting, costing and analytical activities as required.
• Providing ongoing support to Operational Managers within the program and working in a collaborative team environment that fosters a sustainable financial management culture.
• Maintaining Amortization Schedules.
