Base pay range

CA$65,000.00/yr - CA$74,000.00/yr

About the Opportunity

• Review equipment costings; enter transactions into the equipment subledger and the General ledger
• Calculating conversions of Rentals with a Purchase Option contracts
• Analyze and book various equipment and customer support contract provisions, write-downs and monthly reserves
• Prepare various journal entries, adjustments and monthly account reconciliations
• Calculating equipment and product support sales commissions
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly reporting packages to Corporate
• Prepare preliminary budget and quarterly re-forecasts
• Review company expenses and results analysis of key performance indicators
• Produce ad-hoc reports and analyses as required
• Participate in identifying process gaps and recommending improvements
• Ensure tasks are performed in compliance with accounting standards and company policies and procedures
• Other tasks as requested

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or a combination of comparable education and work experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of accounting or related work experience
• CPA designation being pursued is an assetExcellent communication skills
• The ability to prioritize work and consistently meet tight internal and external deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Being a self-starter with the ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams)
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
