SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Brentwood, TN in its search for a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join its growing finance team within the healthcare industry. The Financial Analyst is a mid-level position that plays a key supporting role in the organization’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Financial Analyst will assist in developing weekly cash flow forecasts, support bi-weekly board presentation materials, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.

The ideal candidate for the Financial Analyst position will have 2 – 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), strong Excel skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial information clearly, and the ability to turn financial data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate weekly cash flow forecasts
• Support the development of bi-weekly board presentation materials with relevant financial data
• Participate in the annual planning process, budget creation, and rolling forecasts
• Analyze financial results and variances to provide insights and recommendations
• Work closely with department leaders to gather input and ensure accurate financial projections
• Perform ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business decisions
• Maintain and improve Excel-based financial models and reports
• Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to develop process improvements and reporting consistency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Healthcare industry experience, a plus but not required
