In this role, you will:

1. Assist one or more Equity Research Analysts by providing crucial assistance.
2. Gain hands-on experience in performing financial analyses such as market comparisons, company valuations, and financial modeling.
3. Analyze industries and companies.

Some of your regular responsibilities will include:

1. Creating and maintaining spreadsheets including financial models and industry databases.
2. Generating tables and graphs for use in research publications and presentations.
3. Conducting primary research from industry and financial sources.
4. Providing write-ups on companies and industries.
5. Preparing marketing presentations using PowerPoint.

Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if:

1. You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
2. You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.
3. You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, competitions, and/or hackathons.
4. You have a strong record of academic achievement.
5. You have strong accounting, analytical, and math skills.
6. You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. You have excellent Excel skills.
8. You are able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines, sometimes for extended periods of time.

The following skills/interests are not required, but would be an asset:

1. Familiarity with Bloomberg or FactSet.
2. Enrollment in or completion of the Canadian Securities Course.
3. Interest in pursuing (or enrollment in) the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
