Job summary

ABB in Pointe-Claire, QC is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the ELIP division. You will validate data accuracy, handle journal entries, and oversee capital project requests while ensuring internal controls align with Group requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience in manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree, and bilingual fluency in French and English to liaise with clients outside Quebec. On-site 100%.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience as a Financial Analyst in manufacturing.
• Bilingual in French and English; English required for clients outside Quebec.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel) and SAP/Torque or equivalent ERP.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial reporting activities to close periods (journal entries, reconciliations).
• Prepare financial reporting statements, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Validate financial data accuracy with reconciliations and supporting documents.
• Inventory tracking and review of excess and obsolescence.
• Prepare capital project requests, asset management, and project spending reviews.
• Ensure processes and internal controls meet Group requirements.
