Job summary

ABB in Pointe-Claire, part of the ELIP division, is seeking a Financial Analyst to perform financial transactions and validate accuracy through reviews and analyses. The role is 100% onsite and requires collaboration with teams across the business.

You will prepare capital project requests, support budgeting, forecasting, and ensure internal controls meet Group requirements. Fluency in French and English and experience with SAP or Torque ERP are important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bilingual in French and English; English required for client communication outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial reporting activities to close periods (journal entries, reconciliations).
• Prepare financial reporting statements, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Validate financial data accuracy via reconciliations and supporting documents.
• Track inventory and review excess/obsolescence.
• Prepare capital project requests, asset management, and project spending reviews.
• Ensure processes and internal controls align with Group requirements.
